Yes I thought that I should stick with what has been run in it. But tasting it sounds like a good idea.

Don't forget that honda "break-in" oil is specially formulated (at least this is the theory on s2ki - take everything you hear on here at face value, don't bet on it!). In all honesty, if it's your first change, you'll be fine with synthetic.

I'm sure this joke is obvious to most people, but if you are one who it isn't, DO NOT TASTE MOTOR OIL.
