Well I put a new top in last summer with new modify straps as well.
Top worked perfect last summer and fall. Now when I am trying to put it down to install my hardtop it makes sort of a clunk noise and won't go completely down. Not sure what it is. I can't see anything wrong with it or what's stopping it.

Any suggestions? Can just the cold do that?goes almost all the way down but right behind the center console it sticks up about an inch or two.

The bar that is supposed to be pulled back by the straps, hold it back with your finger when lowering the top.

 

Pretty sure I tried that but I'll double check. Thanks!
