TSB for popping out of second gear
I'm trying to locate a TSB for MY04+, popping out of 2nd gear under deceleration.
does this exist? thanks in advance |
The TSB number is 05-009. I know it by heart since our brand new 05 jumped out of 2nd gear from the first test drive. I contacted the Service Department with this TSB number, and also took a video of the shifter as it jumped out of 2nd on a hard deceleration. The service guys looked at the video, and didn't even bother with a test drive. The parts from the TSB were ordered, and although it took 4 days in the shop to get the job done, it's perfect now. You'll find the actual TSB if you search on this forum long enough. I did find it, but couldn't tell you exactly where now.

I'm speaking with the service department about this and they couldn't find anything. Now I have something concrete! |

If this isn't happening to me, can I go to the dealership and ask to get it taken care of so it won't happen in the future?

MAtt many thanks |
Sorry for the slight digression, but when this issue occurs, do you hear a "thunk" from the rear as the shifter pops out of 2nd?
