Post Vehicle Refresh, potential track prep.

Good day all.

Im currently putting a list together for a S2K refresh, as well as do things along the way to eventually prepare it for its first track day.

Currently my list consists of :

-All fluid flush (transmission,Diff, clutch fluid, brakes etc)
-Valve adjustment + AP2 valve retainers change
-All bushings changed including diff and transmission mounts. (possibly to polyurethane)
-SS brake lines
-Timing change tensioner change
-Head hex bolt on the engine has been prone to leak, will replace o-ring.
-tighten rear axle nut to avoid any issues.

If there's anything else I should add im all ears!

Following this thread because I'd like to refresh my vehicle as well. But not for tracking purposes, but because I bought a higher mileage car and I'd like to know what wear-items could be refreshed.

Can you post a list of the bushings you're changing? However expansive such a list is, I'd like to know so I know what to get.

I was also going to replace my timing chain tensioner upon purchase. But my mechanic (Joey) checked out the car and he said if my TCT is in working order, there's no need to replace it with an aftermarket solution.

Suspension bushings, thanks!

Couple things I would add to that would be brake pads, tires, potential leaky gaskets like the vtec solenoid, inspect suspension for any leaking shocks (mine had two blown shocks), and torquing the sub frame bolts.

I've gone through the exact same things you've listed preparing for my first track day as well!
