very upsetting engine oil analyis results
I sent in another sample of my engine oil and it seems like something is wrong. I haven't changed anything on s2k except that I replaced the O-ring the cam wheel sprocket bolt which was leaking oil. But I stupidly tightened the bolt close to half a turn more after the torque wrench clicked. I am very upset as that I might have something to do with this.
what do you guys think? I don't have any loud knocking sound and I have a included video of cold start and warm start at the bottom. Thanks

Their notes didn't seem to be concerned with your cars results. They even recommended going to 7000 miles next time lol
I wouldn't worry about it. The videos seemed ok from what I heard. Maybe the car needs a valve adjustment

Your UOA's look consistent with a normal wear pattern so far. I don't think you broke anything. The noises could be fuel injectors. Have you ever had them cleaned in the last 175K miles? When did you last have the valves adjusted?
Thanks for posting your UOA's!

I'm not sure what you are upset about, you must upset easy, lol.
Nothing wrong with the used oil sample. If you have an oil starvation issue it would have showed up very clearly and very quickly assuming that your oil sample was sent it after the time frame that you are concerned about. Lead, Copper, Iron, Aluminum, and Tin all look good which are the main things you would be concerned with if you had a major issue.
Oil starvation issues relatd to the pulley bolt happen when the bolt comes loose, your issue was opposite to that, so it wasn't/isn't loose.

Oh okay thanks guys I just read the part where they said the wear increased from the last time and that got me a little paranoid. I have had valve adjustment done about 10k miles ago. Injectors have never been cleaned but I have been using injector cleaners every once in a while, (BG 44k and Redline). I think the motor seems very loud coz I was holding the camera real close. Thanks again guys.

LOL sounds like an F20C to me.
Where in the report do they say wear is increasing? I don't even see the word "wear". They did say the levels of some metals "were a little higher". That's WERE, not WEAR.

All of your wear metal numbers look good and are pretty low. All of the high numbers you see are anti-wear additives so they are good, including Titanium. Nice to see another good report with Castrol Edge w/Titanium.
