Default VSA after engaging clutch on lift.

Hi, recently after clutch install (hyper single) we activate new clutch while car was on the lift. Light application several times with no throttle input. After a few minutes I apply very light throttle to car and VSA activates, not completely unexpected. Apply light throttle one more time, vSA activates but this time light stays on, we put 500 miles on clutch with light still on. All sensors and wires perfect (no damage during clutch) , brake fluid is good clean and full. Stumped as we had zero faults until engaging VSA on lift. Steering shaft was locked, marked, absolutely untouched, car tracks perfectly straight with wheel perfect. Looking for ideas as I’m confused what damage could have been done activating on Lift. Thank you friends. Cheers.

Put it on the ground. The car does not know the wheels are raised. The code was set on the lift and must be written out.

Thank you Billman, the car has been driven 500+ miles with VSA light on, I also jump pin 4-9 on OBD connection and light would not reset. Is this method comparable to factory reset performed by dealer? Thank you.

Sorry, to clarify, VSA light clear procedure was performed with pin 4-9 jumped. ABS reset was performed to check jumped pin status was good, ABS reset procedure worked nice.

I have always used a scanner to write out vsa codes, not sure 4-9 will work.

code 27 steering sensor angle I need to find some reader that will display angle while I adjust sensor. I doubt my dealer would bother checking to see if adjustments could be made and insist on “broken”. Previous thread on this subject the OP acquired a cheap Chinese reader for the job, this is my mission!
