All, please help me identify the problem here.

2007 with 35,000 miles. Frame hinges seem smooth to me and the elastic bands were replaced with Modifry's bands last year. The wear marks below have all occurred recently; this is the first season where 90% of my driving was with the top down. I've lowered and raised the top several times but can't identify what's causing the wear here.


Driver's side (faint mark):

Update -- I guess it's this band running along the back of the top.

You can buy a patch and put it there to reinforce that area...That's what I did with mine wherever I see wear marks.
