What could be causing this problem?

Well if its a frozen caliper, a simple test would be to take a brief drive, then stop and and walk around the car and put your hand on/near the hubs to see if one feels really hot as compared to the others. Of course, fronts will naturally feel hotter than the backs because they do most of the stopping, but if one side is significantly hotter than the other, then that would indicate a potential sticking problem.

During steady acceleration, not necessarily WOT, the car feels as if im stepping on gas, then letting go, then stepping on gas, then letting go, etc... It also feels that way when i brake as well.
Sounds like a bad TPS and warped rotors
