So the rabbit hole that is youtube gave me this rather in-depth discussion by Gale Banks regarding diff cover design. Now, I realize the s2000 does not have a diff cover per se, but many other vehicles do. The aftermarket is rife with different designs that claim to do all sorts of wizardry- Banks wants to know more about the diff fluid flow and how it is altered by larger capacity covers- really, harm or benefit. I know there are larger capacity s2000 diff housing designs which make sense to me- Banks has other thoughts.
