Default What is this part? (found inside door panel)

Can anyone identify this part? I found it when I was pulling a door panel to change a speaker. Unfortunately also noticed the previous owner mounted the old speakers by screwing directly through the sheet metal in the process...

Those are window stabilizers, different than the metal ones that also go by the same name. I found mine in the bottom of the doors as well when I was doing my sound system upgrade. I bought new ones hoping to get them back in place but for the life of me I could never get them to install properly. My guess is that most S2k's have these sitting in the bottom of the doors, they are just a friction fit part, as they don't have any real clips or mounting pieces, so they are easy to fall out of place when the windows go up and down. I heard one owner claim that they fall out in winter conditions, but they are such a weak part they can likely fall out in any conditions. I've left mine out since I can't get them back in place. FWIW, I also mounted my speakers directly into the sheetmetal, nothing wrong with that as some speakers won't line up with the Honda clips, I used touch up paint around the drilled holes, and lots of anti-sieze with stainless screws to reduce the chance of rusting.

found mine in the bottom of the door as well on the driver side, I think. took me awhile to find out where it came from, almost made a thread like this lol. If you look near the top of the door, where the window goes in, there is a little space on the inside part recesssed where these just clip in. You may have to play with your window a bit, using a tool to help slip it in, but its possible to get it back in. Not crucial, but this will help guide and protect the window from getting damaged especially if you have tint.
