Will changing wheel weights change sway bar performance to any appreciable amount?
The autoxers find the stiffer than Mugen sway bar effective, but that has been with US spec stock rims. I would think lighter, i.e. Spoon or Mugen, wheels would possibly make that bar too stiff.
I also understand spings are another matter as well.

Hey Prolene-
No- the wheel weight differences have a negligible effect on the sway bar.
Wheel/tire weights matter on acceleration or deceleration (braking). Using the lightest wheel in the world isn't as important as finding a lightweight high performance tire- which usually means a tire from the big names- Dunlop, Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli etc. and not the little guys like Toyo, Sumitomo, Kuhmo, etc. The big guys usually balance the parameters we find important- wet/dry weather grip, wear, weight, and feel better than the less well known manufacturers.

The wheel weight is definely negligible when considering the rotating mass of the wheel/tire..if that weight provides an adequate balance of the wheel tire system. Balance is critical.......
