Where on AEM CAI will "Bypass Valve" provide the best protection against hydrolock?

Where on CAI will Bypass Valve provide the best protection against hydrolock
1) Where CAI and throttle body connects (there's enough room and it will fit)?
2) Or right where upper CAI pipe meets lower CAI pipe behind radiator fan?
I'm just doing this for rainy season. If I place bypass valve right where upper and lower CAI meets, it still risky since it's almost the same level as the filter. Putting it right where CAI meets throttle body will work better against hydrolocking but concerned about performance or negative effects by putting it there.
Any input on this will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Ok I installed it where upper and lower pipes meet since instructions state not to put it between throttle body and intake pipe since valve might break due to engine rocking. Also didn't feel like cutting the pipe so it can be higher up, only doing it for rainy season anyways. Took it for a test drive and butt dyno still feels the same so pretty sure whatever gains I had from AEM CAI still there.
