Where are my ABS guys?
Little history:
I bought my MY00 with 145k miles on it. When I was driving it home I found the abs self testing pretty much every time I went to stop. Right around 7-4 mph. Whether I was on the brake pedal or not. Car had pretty fresh pads and pwjdm drilled/slotted rotors. Did some reading and parts swapping. Ended up replacing: All brake lines to steel braided. Three calipers Abs module Brake fluid to motul Rear pads Checked fluids/cleaned all sensors Inspected for broken wiring Still having the issue. NO ABS CODES. So I yanked the abs fuse out and have been driving it this way for the past year and a half with no issues. Today I got around to hooking up the snap on scan tool. Replaced the abs fuse. Still no codes. But something interesting happened. When I put it in scs mode to manual count the flashes for codes (with the scan tool), the ABS light turned off for three seconds then came back on. This shows it having no codes stored. But the EPS light ended up flashing. 22 and 23. Now if these were abs codes it would be front left and rear right abs sensors. But shouldn't the ABS light flash that? I've never had any issues with my EPS. Wish there were more local s2k owners around for me to borrow sensors to narrow them out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I think that the ABS sensor can get clogged up with stuff and needs to be cleaned out. Also make sure that they are seated all the way in.

Oh and I replaced the master cylinder.

Cleaned out?? I cleaned every sensor and sensor ring already. That was one of the first things I did.

I'd check all the teeth on the rings.
