Default Will I be able to pass Safety and Emissions with the EPS light on?

Once I get the car I might just remove it completely, but it's at a dealership. I know I'm some cars you can't pass Safety with the EPS light on, is this car one of them? If it helps any I'm in Utah.

If there's no light who will know.

What's wrong with your power steering?

there is a light though.... And I don't know what's wrong with it. It's at a dealership right now and it has the EPS Light on meaning there's something wrong with it. Im not allowed to do anything tonight because it doesn't belong to me yet.

If it has bad power steering don't buy the car. Certainly not until it's fixed. There are still thousands of these cars available.
