You guys act like the S2000 is a Lamborghini geez. It's a Honda.

LOL.

ItsI a Honda, that held the highest NA horsepower per liter, for over a decade. Yea it's special and not your typical honda engine, let alone the rest of the platform.

Do as you must. But you've got 20 years of post backlog to read through here on the forum. If you are not satisfied with our answers. Please read posts relevant to your questions. If that does not satisfy you, take your car to a dealership, that likely doesn't have a mechanic that knows the s2000, with a service writer that will rape your wallet and probably get you no where fast.

There are certain things about the S that just should not use aftermarket parts, TCT, Clutch release bearing, drive axles, just to name a few.

I seriously, dare you, to spend the time to read, and understand the quirks of the car. I mean this in the most positive way, possible.

This singular comment right here, makes me now understand why you dont understand where any of us are coming from.

For a car enthusiast, it doesnt matter if the car is a 1995 Integra or Ferrari 458. We could spend hours talking to you about how the S2000 and the NSX were basically Honda's supercars and very comparable to Lambos back in those days, and how incredibly unique these cars actually are, but it doesnt matter. When you love a car and a platform, you will treat it with the utmost respect. Id be willing to bet you have guys in here who treat their S2k better than the millionaire living in Beverly Hills treats his lambo. Price of the car doesnt dictate level of care. I'd be willing to bet in your mind you bought something as generic as a Civic just with a ragtop. You couldn't be further from the truth. This isn't JUST a Honda. This car has some insane pedigree and an insane legacy. Its actually considered one of the best cars ever manufactured, ever.

That is incorrect.

You paypal, and I send you the tensioner.

Once you send the old one back, I refund the core money. There is no waiting.

And yes overly complex. A simple "this is how much my part is. What's your card number?" Would work. Not this "send me your OEM part, pay me via PayPal, wait for refund once I get your part" stuff.
That is a lie. If it continues, I will remove you from this forum.

Nothing I wrote you states that, and definitely not in that order.

Core charges have been around in the automotive Industry for around 100 years. There is nothing complex about it.

Well...whether its a Honda or a Lamborghini, it wouldn't make sense to impulsively keep buying short term parts because you're impatient. No offense meant. But what you're doing doesn't make logical sense.

Billman's procedure isn't any different than a core charge, and there's nothing complex about paypal.

Neither of these things are out of this world...but maybe they're just not what you're used to.

Might be worth it to try something new once in a while, my bro.

Why are you in such a rush to halfway fix this car?

I appreciate the reply but I will just go with another OEM one I'd still like to keep the one I have as an emergency.
