Well Gene, I've never had to fill one out, not for me, or for a client. Also most IRS forms have 4 digits, not 5. Lastly, I retired last year and immediately wiped my memory banks clean of all government form numbers.

This was preventable if I could just get the IRS to provide me with a PIN number at the end of February. I filled the same form out with #2 checked but it didn't help after they refuse to issue me the PIN.

I just saw a post in the NY thread that said the car is on a trailer back to CA! Not sure if it is true, since Lon hasn't posted an update.

Tax returns were complicated this year. Of course, I wasn't preparing them, but still, getting everything together took awhile. Lots of uploads to my CPA's sharefile (very convenient). I had both my parents' estate returns (Mother actually had two - her regular return for the first six months of 2015, and her estate return), in addition to mine. Theirs are done (YAY) and mine is close. Should have it tomorrow. E-file does help. I still had to mail four returns - Dad's Fed and VA, and both Mother's VA returns. Whew...

See my question in the Computer thread. Two website displays (this one and AOL mail) got messed up when I downloaded a major upgrade to my tablet (Android) last night. They look really ugly!
