My bro lives in Phoenix, where they are used to hot weather. But this has been a particularly brutal heat wave, especially early in the summer.

That kind of heat and near zero humidity is just fine. (I was out autocrossing yesterday in 100+.) Having summers with 100 degree days and 90-100% humidity was far more brutal (grew up outside of Houston, TX).

It was also 111° in Burbank yesterday. I excavated in Burbank today. It was hot as hell!

Of course, the oven is dry heat, too!

Man, Palm Springs in July! Crazy! The parking lot's asphalt actually melts. Your car sinks a good 1/4-inch.
