The 2019 Corvette?

They claim in this story that Bowling Green stopped giving factory tours recently which would be consistent with production activities around a new, unannounced model. I guess I'm getting old. It seems like they just came out with the new model.

Bill, the C7, the seventh generation Corvette, began with MY14. The ZR1, recently introduced for spring deliveries, is still a C7. The C8 has long been rumored to be mid engine. The consensus in the Corvette community is that it will be introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, which begins on 1/13.

Big question I have re the "Zora" mid engine 'vette: Will it be N/A IC engine only, boosted IC engine only or as an option, or mix of IC and electric like the new NSX?

Rumors of the ZR1 L5 engine, maybe normally aspirated LT1 base engine also, maybe a new smaller displacement DOHC turbo engine. We'll see.

Guess you Vette lovers will have to come to the Detroit Auto Show. As for myself, been there, done that, with my 1963. But that was 40 years ago. When it comes to classic Vette's I do love basically the '56 - '65's but I think the latest are likely the greatest!

Nope, always been a top-down lover. This is the one and only photo I have of my ride.

A 'vette with snow tires. Not something you see every day, even in the Great White North.
