2019 New years resolutions list

Gene triggered the thought.
1.) there is the standing I'm gonna lose a bunch of weight. ( i think this one is like 20 years old now. talk about schedule slip)
2.) I want to make it through 2019 without any moving violations and/or going back to mandatory driving school. ( might be a bit tougher this year...)
3.) Actually get out on the bike this year. there is a god chance of this one.
4.) Bump my 401k to max allowable. time to stash the cash.
5.) Get promoted to Engineering Fellow.
6.) shoot par. :roflmao: god i kill myself sometimes, ok maybe shoot par on at least half the holes.

what are your's?

I don't make New Years resolutions but yours are funny, Jerry. I should add your number 2 to my non-list. I was pulled over twice in Colorado last year. Once was for intentionally blowing a stop sign and once was for speeding. I had to pay $100 to a clerk and get an insurance rate bump for the stop sign but got off on the speeding after having to go to court to show proof of insurance, since the card in my possession was expired.

I do plan on completing 1,000,000 feet of elevation climb on my ElliptiGO, though. If I was in California still, it would happen a lot sooner because I'd be riding more often than in cold Colorado. Speaking of ElliptiGOs, you might love riding one, Jerry. It's easier on your butt and neck than a bike since you're standing up.

The Global ElliptiGO Riders Club has been keeping stats and I'm 19th in total distance and 11th in elevation gain. According to their records I'm going to be the first female to get 1,000,000 feet of gain. Ten males already have. I'm riding today before the snow starts falling so I may go for a climbing ride and knock off another 1,600 feet of gain.

19. Patricia Klein-ElliptiGO
Distance: 15,230.12 (19th)
Elevation Gain: 974,139.79 (11th)

Thank you, Deb. I am not competitive and actually don't like competition with anyone but myself, but one of the members kept telling me I was going to be the first woman to hit 1,000,000 feet.

Wow. Very impressive. Keep it up.

I only made two:
1) Work less hours.
2) Spend more time with Liz.

If I can keep those two, everything else should fall into place.

I'm on a ride right now wearing four tops and two bottoms. I think I'll have over 2,000 feet of gain when I'm done with almost 25 miles.

*I finished and am beat. I hope my hot tub is warmed up. I ended up getting in 25.7 miles and 2,051 feet of gain. That's better than usual for my gain.
