Correct Mr Coffee Carafe

^I thought about that as my sister is a big fan but I'm sure it's got to be more expensive per cup and it fills the landfills. My kids are always on me about landfills and the waste of our generation. I still buy bottled water for my car as I'll easily drink three in a day but I don't tell them.
We get the coffee pods for 1/2 of what BBB and other stores rip people off for. After a couple of hours coffee brewed into a carafe doesn't taste as good as when it is fresh brewed unlike Keurig coffee. My kids could care less about landfills and have their own Keurig's. Pods don't take up much room.

Another good move is to get a non glass carafe. My sister got me what she calls a “rob proof” coffeemaker and it’s like a metal carafe but not really metal not sure exactly what it’s made of but I keep it on standby in case I break my glass carafe.

The Keurigs seem to me like they would be very expensive but maybe I’m wrong. I buy a big 28oz tub of coffee when it’s on sale and usually get a quality brand for less than seven dollars.

I bought the coffee maker at Costco for $30 on 9-10-2017. The replacement carafe was $14.58. That's kinda like buying razor blades.

I'm happy with it. I buy whole coffee beans, at Costco, naturally, when they are on sale, naturally. I use the grinder machine at Costco as I leave. It works for me.

I have to travel an hour in my direction of choice to buy a coffee carafe, unless I go to the local hardware store which we refer to as Tiffany’s and there it would probably be over $50
