So, what happened? I wish the report said how the patrolman got them out. Did he just open the door or what?

The ground is mostly decomposed granite. The ramamda is among granite rocks. It's very dry normally but even dryer now due to the drought. My friend, Bob, mentioned that the dryness would affect the grounding of a lightning strike, too, somehow.

Yeah, that makes sense, sand => beach. I know it's not something everyone would enjoy but it's heaven to me, especially at night when the Milky Way is so easy to see.
