You owe it to yourself to get one of these T-shirts. I did!

Got the proper shift pattern, of course!

I also don't believe in the all the fun is in the gearbox The fun is in the car or truck and where your at. I am one that can take or leave a third pedal except in my off road truck, leave the extra pedal at home. Having both on a switch back, narrow, rocky road where a foot or two means a hundred or thousand foot drop or when trying to crawl over a bunch of rocks and I will take that auto.

Great shirts Gene. Great find.

I really like the idea of "The Manual Gearbox Preservation Society".

I respect what you're saying. I don't necessarily agree with you, but I respect it. If you truly believe it why don't you write up a story and post it as a new thread and share your thoughts with everyone?

Last summer I drove a Ferrari F430, 360 Modena, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Porsche twin turbo 911 all with paddle shifters. I was honestly not impressed. I have always driven manual shift performance cars which I feel I have more control over. To each their own I guess. And I did say I wasn't impressed, NOT that it wasn't FUN
