Aneurysm & Cataract
 

Survived cataract surgery today. Stitches come out in six weeks.

Monday I see the cardiovascular surgeon about putting the sleeve in my abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Still have to schedule another wisdom tooth extraction.

I think it may take a few months for us to get moved to Tennessee.

Nice you have all that land there. Looks peaceful. Is that a second house for you or did you buy it? You do seem to have a lot going on medically right now. Good luck with everything, especially that aneurysm! Something you don't want to put off for long. :fingerscrossed:

I guess I never thought about the health issues being worth mentioning until they all came to a point to be fixed. The Urologist found the aneurysm over 10 years ago and I have been having annual inspections ever since. I have been taking eye drops for Glaucoma for more than 20 years. The cataracts have been around for years, too. I had one fixed in the summer of 2009.

House has about 1 1/2 acre of yard. I picked up a mower that only has about 70 hours on it. I think it will get the job done.

Wifely Unit has been on me about moving closer to the kids for more than 10 years. That is how she got to be known a "Five Horses". The first few years she would not consider anything more than walking distance from them. Then she got up to within three miles. (I started with Costa Rica) After grand daughter started downloading babies in 2008 (#5 is due in March) we started looking around Nashville. Nashville is living in a completely different economy than we are in Atlanta so we ended up with Clarksville at about half the cost of something like it in Nashville area.

Health issues can get to be tedious. Sounds like your coping/dealing with them as they come along.
and for the record, I now have mower envy.
