Hmmm who do you think sought out who? I bet his agent said "hey I have an idea..."

On an unrelated note. google took me on a wild goose chase yesterday and I wound up in the parking lot of a liquor store.
So I wandered in to ask about where I was really going to and to check out their scotches.
My heart raced when i looked into the locked case and there on the bottom shelf saw an 18 yr Macallan with $149. tag in front of it.
I quickly bent over saw the small print on the tag said Balvenie.... boo hisss. The next tag over was the Macallan 18 for $219.

I think McConaughey is a pretty cool guy and I loved to throw back a few bourbon's with him.
And what does he know about bourbon? Probably less than he knows about Lincolns!

For how he was compensated on both endeavors, I'd happily drive a Yugo and sing the praises of Kessler American Blended Whiskey.

Its not about compensation.... its about how many people will buy his "bourbon" and be happy with it.

Its a shame how the American public listens to TV/Movie people... thinking the actor/actress knows anything about what they are talking about.

If its good enough for a movie star its definetly good enough for me! Hey advertising, its the American way. Goes back since you were hypnotized as a kid. Still can work on adults, especially drunk ones

As for myself, I will give any whisky a try if it's in front of my face, i dont care what it cost

And down in the basement, backup bottles.... yes, quite a bit of OWA down there. Great bottle to use in trades as it is hard to find.

Top shelf left of the Winkle, what is that? Looks like a Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottle. I scored a bottle of George T Stagg earlier this year from my girlfriend's uncle that worked for BT. Doubtful I'll ever get another as I won't pay more than retail or stand in lines before a store opens.
