Yepp.. 2017 GTS. one of my favorites.

I also got mine at retail, and won't pay secondary prices for a bottle either.

Got lucky last year, '17 GTS, 15yr Pappy, 10yr Rip van Winkle.

I've only tried a '14 GTS, hoping the 17' is similar. Supposedly supply will catch up with demand in the next 5-6 years. I wish stagg jr was closer to the GTS as they are a lot easier to get a hold of.

I've actually been going through a lot of Sazerac rye recently. Good bang for the buck at about $23 a bottle.

Picked up a bottle of this at my local QFC grocery store on sale for $40. I ran out of the first bottle i had which was a gift from a friend. I really enjoyed it. Its a 10 year and has a nice rich complex flavor. Great sipping neat or as a manhatten if im in the mood. Going neat tonight

When we went out to see Joan Baez the other night, the +1 got a couple shots of Bulleit at the theatre. The lady who poured gave him a very generous amount. He was happy in more ways than one. I thought he had a mixed drink, but nope. It was all bourbon.

The +1 is still drinking bourbon, but has gotten more recently into rye. He just bought Crown Royal rye. Did not know Crown Royal made rye. He likes it.

I like Forgiven. It is a blend of Rye & bourbon from Wild Turkey.

Gave that recommendation to the +1. I was looking for another way to display all the liquor/wine we have. There are two beautiful antique commodes (no, not toilets) in the living room where a lot of the collection is right now and space between or next to them. So I am getting this...will take a pic when it is all set up. Should look lovely. Not necessarily manly, but lovely.
