Anyone interested in getting a nice album of Aretha's hits... The Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab re-mastered "Aretha Gold" is very good. Esp the 45PRM LP edition.

I'm surprised there are still 130 Pink Cadillacs around! I heard she has had a couple "costume changes" since the public viewing began.

Is anyone watching Aretha's funeral? Wow...Rev Shirley Caesar just blew the roof off the place. Amazing.

Actually, I'm not acquainted with Mary Kay. My makeup comes from pharmacy chains.

But yes, I do know of the Mary Kay pink Cadillacs. Didn't know it was still a thing.

Amazing what you can do with a can of paint! The celebration of Aretha was going into it's 8th hour when we had dinner...Wonder if they had restroom breaks.
