What do you do on a couple slow snow days? Pull out the blank canvas and star at it. Couldn't think of anything cool to paint. I spotted one of the Paint By Numbers kits I bought the grandkids; which they were not interested in doing. So I did it! OMG, I haven't done one in nearly 70 years. It kept me focused and passed several hours. In some respects it was harder than just doing a regular painting. One of my grandson's seemed to enjoy getting it, since he didn't have to do it.

Cute...I need to take a pic of the +1's latest. He did some meerkats for my sister. And a couple more for class.

Nicely done, Dave. I could never get results that nice if I tried a similar project.

Nice. I think about painting every time I walk past my art room and that's as close as I get to doing something. Is he still taking classes? I know I need something like that to push me into getting out the brushes.

Do you like flowers? Do you like paintings of flowers? Being honest, I hardly ever stop and study a flower painting. But I did accidentally come across how to paint one that I found very interesting to watch. You art lovers might enjoy it as well.
