I haven't done any painting in a year but since February arrived it was time. This has kept me out of the bar the past couple days. They are not going to hang it in the Louvre but it was a challenge since beaches are hard for me and I'm out of practice. It's a lighthouse scene on South Manatou Island in northern Michigan. It's in mixed media oil and acrylic. I'm generally to impatient for oils but I thought I drag them out to see if they had dried up; which often happens since I go so long between painting.
