Very nice Dave but i'm confused. What oil do you use? Synthetic? Dino? Maybe Mobil 1. I didn't know that I came in colours.

All kidding aside, I wish I had 1/10 of your talent!!

According to Blackstone-Lab they are all the same, more or less.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Finding a subject that holds my interest is usually half the battle. I've got an idea for starting one tomorrow. Hopefully the ice will be melted so I can get to my outside garage where I've got an Exacto knife as I need to cut some illustration board. I'm thinking of doing a painting with designers gouache.

I don't know what designers gouache is. I'm not going to Google, I'm going to wait until you show me!

Thanks, that is a style that I really like. Its more comic book than fine art but its my favorite art. I'm having that one glass framed. Boy, me having something framed is saying something.

Here is a similar style that I bought. And years later was able to get the autographs of the two drivers who raced it at LeMans.

Did you do that from a picture or freehand? It's really good.

Very nice, Dave!

I'm thinking that you did another one that was similar to that one.

Or, did you show this one to us before while it was still a work in progress?
