Default Baseball - How's Your Team Doing?

Well, were getting down to crunch time baseball fans. Where is your team at? How do you think they'll finish the season; strong or weak? Will they make the playoffs? If so, what are their chances?

My beloved Indians have completely dumped. After winning 9 of 10 and going from 8 games behind the Twins to one game back, they have now lost 8 or 9 in a row to the Rangers, Twins and now the Crankees. Disappointed, yes. Shocked, no. Our rebuilding was not supposed to be completed until 2005 or 2006. This year we remarkably lead the major leagues in runs scored with guys most of you never heard of. Long gone are Albert Belle, Manny Ramirez and Jim Thome. Our achilles heel is the bullpen. I believe they have blown 25+ saves this year. Convert half of those and we would be one of the best teams in baseball. Hopefully the front office can address this weakness and we can compete next year.

My team is doing just fine now. Thank God for the Cleveland Indians!

The playoffs will be a challenge if their starters don't perform better.

Angels are looking decent this year. Just took 3 in a row off the Yankees! Kinda makes a statement.

Barry Bonds and whatever eight guys the Giants are suiting up with him this week are doing remarkably well. We're in great shape for the wild card, and could still win the division.

Imagine what we could have done with an entire team???!!!

Every year we trade away or lose most of our talent, and nearly every year Barry still carries us to the playoffs. It will be a VERY long time before baseball sees another of his caliber.

(Don't forget folks, as of a few weeks ago... Barry's now VINTAGE!!!)

My team could be doing about six or seven games better in the loss column. But a few weeks ago, they needed to be about 10 or 11 games better in the loss column, so I'm seeing progress.
