My wife sat him down, showed him on paper what brush does what and taught him how to load a brush. Then she spent some time talking about light and dark in a picture. That was it. I thought it was blowing right over his head. I didn't know he could draw.

He spent 3 days after school working on that. Guess he's got his Grandmother's talents.

Really good work. Kids will definitely surprise you from time to time. Sometimes even in a good way.

Well, it was grandma, she knows how to get drama out of a picture. GO GRANDMA. I'm impressed with the painting ....... not easy I assure you. But, with hard work, every single day, he could maybe according to everything I’ve heard and read, there r lots of people with natural talent. Being a good artist is more about sticking to it, painting or drawing every day and being prepared to starve if u think u can make a good living. But work is the most important component - thank God as I sure don’t have that built in my skill. I love art but never ever saw it as a future. Who know what grandson can accoompish?

We didn't know he had it in him
