Building in Alexandria, Va.
Anyone know the history of this building? You can’t see it in this picture but there is a small wood door hidden by the brick column.

Alexandria covers a pretty large area, Jim. What's the address? The cobblestones put it possibly somewhere in old town but again, that's a fairly large area. I live in Alexandria and with the address I can get some information pretty quickly.

Looking for a warehouse or factory building?
Generically it resembles the loading dock at the back of an old school. You can access the county tax records on line which shows a history of ownership -- not sure if it goes back 80 - 100 years. -- Chuck |

Roger on independent city -- like Petersburg or Colonial Heights but more crowded. ;)
OK, check city records. :) They on line? -- Chuck (just a county boy) |
Thanks, I just thought it looked odd so took a picture. It was near the waterfront and might have been on s. Union or S. Lee and King St.
Just thought I would ask. Thanks, Jim |
