I would not have remembered it if you hadn't included a picture of the cover of the book, but we had that one when I was a child also! We used to catch lightning bugs as kids. Had to be careful not to squish them so that we could safely let them fly away after a short incarceration for study.

Well this is a first. There is a lightning bug in the bedroom courting the ready light on the sattelite box. They could have such beautiful children.

I thought this was a cute picture of my grand daughter, up from FL, learning about lightning bugs. Too bad I can't show the video her mom took later that night.

I'm happy to see a little girl just looking at a bug on her and not coming unglued.
