Yes, thanks for the update. Did not realize that the fire was so close to your new place. Scary...hope your house continues to survive. Very sorry about your friends whose homes did not.

Internet and mobile service is down in fire areas and surrounding areas as well. Extensive outages. Best thing is to take a close look at the fire maps to see if your buddy is in the zone. Good friend of mine is outside the fire zone on the maps for now but I cannot contact him with anything.

Following a house fire we found that dealing with the insurance company was just as demanding as dealing with the loss. I do hope that in these circumstance the companies have more humanity.
