Default Car Cover

I have a detailing customer who owns a 2017 Honda Accord. She lives in a wooded area and animals like to get on her car at night and as a result she is getting scratches. She would like to cover it at night. I recommended a good cover, waterproof with a soft underside. I used a cover years ago for my 280Z but it was not waterproof. I am detailing her car next week and will try to remove as many scratches I can. After that she wants to cover it. Any suggestions

I keep my garaged 79 Accord under a fitted cover from Coverking. Very happy with the fit.

For outdoor with some impact protection your customer might consider a coverbond 4 from them. https://www.carcoverusa.com/coverkin...-car-cover.php

Not sure how any cover will hold up to animal claws. I put an old sleeping bag over the roof on top of the cover because our cat likes to climb up there and take a nap. Obviously not an option for outdoors but tossing a heavy canvass tarp tossed on to the covered car would do the job.

I have coverking for my S that is garaged. Works great indoors, don't know about outside.

Ray, I was up in DE a couple weeks ago but only for a few days. The occasion was my parents' 70th anniversary. As one of our gifts, us kids did a work weekend around their place outside of Laurel, so between planning on Thursday, celebrating on Friday, and working all weekend, I was not able to set up anything to get together with you guys up there. I DID have a free day on Monday but this was unexpected, due to a cancelled flight on American...you may have heard about issues with PSA (American Eagle) that had about 30,000 people stranded in the Charlotte hub. Anyway, I figured that extra day was too last minute to get anything organized in the way of a meet-up.

Next time for sure.
