Celebrate Life Meet
Hello everyone, are you ready for a new meet?
Where: Erie, PA
When: The weekend of August 7th-9th
Welcome to Celebrate Life, an event in celebration of the life of Maury (Jumpy Guy) in Erie, PA! Get ready for all of the interesting and exciting things Erie has to offer. Arrive early and leave late because there is no shortage of fun things to do! Celebrate life with friends and family as this is a weekend to remember all of our friends, both living and passed, by taking the time to live life to its fullest. Maury always said, “Let’s just get in the cars and drive. If you wait for those other guys, it will never happen.” It was his way of saying do not let life pass you by.

The Itinerary:
Thursday – For those arriving early, there are tons of sight seeing and tourist activities. I’ll be headed to Presque Isle State Park and then having lunch at the harbor. There is no official set itinerary for this day.
Friday 8:30am - Rehearsal drive. If you'd like to get an early preview of what the Saturday drive will be like, come join us. We'll have a short, impromptu drivers meeting and will then do the Saturday drive preview
Friday Dinner – is on your own or join Ken (kgf3076) for a gastronomical tour of some of Erie's more notorious dives and juke joints.
Friday 6:00pm to 9:00pm - The Celebrate Life - In Memory of Maury meet and greet. Come renew friendships and make new ones at the informal get together. Event packets will be handed out so this is the place to be. There will be nibblies and a cash bar for adult beverages. Dinner is on your own afterwards.
Saturday 8:30am - Drivers meeting: Line up with a drive group and plan on a scenic ride through some beautiful countryside.
Saturday 11:30-1:30 - Lunch will be at Crossroads Dinor
Saturday 6:30pm - 10:00pm - The Banquet at the Hilton Garden Inn. Bring your appetite, as this will be good eating! Bring a wallet as there will be a cash bar.
Sunday - Saying goodbye's at breakfast. Some will need to leave while others may want to stay and continue exploring Erie. Maybe a quick pull on the slot machine before departure?
Breakfast - Saturday and Sunday: 6:30 to 9:30 in the hotel. Food is buffet style and MTO.

Nice! Maury and others will be smiling down on this meet. We have already allocated vacation time elsewhere, so we can't make this one, but I'm sure it will be a blast.

Everyone, thanks for your patience. Ken and I have been working hard to get the details together. I think we finally will have the accommodations set in stone very shortly and the official sign-up thread will be here soon! I'm excited to have this meet because we are going to have a blast!
