Cell Phone Usage
I keep getting warnings from Verizon about running out of data on my plan. I checked my data usage and have found that four times a day my phone is using cellular data even when it is on wifi. Some of these are in the middle of the freaking night plus it happens on multiple days at the same time. I'm off to Verizon today and if they can't resolve this they will be history!

We got rid of that problem by opting for unlimited data. Verizon is still the best choice for us across the West and Southwest. |
I'd check to see if some apps are running even when you aren't using them. Facebook is notorious for this.

You will love this. I had the cellular data OFF on my phone last night and got the same four data usage times as the night before when my phone was on! Something doesn't pass the smell test.

What's a cell phone?
Couldn't resist, I don't have one. |

Turn off background app refresh (settings-> general-> Background app refresh). Also, even turning off cellular data might be reset at midnight, thus turning it back on after (was it on again when you checked in the morning?) Second option to actually find the culprit; Settings->Cellular. This will show by app how much data each app is using. Reset the counter and check the next day. |
^^^That's 2 of us Mark.
