On the way back to my base as a passenger in a Huey, almost fell out after tossing a couple smoke grenades out the door. Guess I probably had a few too many! Had the day off since the other maintenance officer got to attend a Bob Hope show earlier. We had to trade. Wish I could have witnessed a Bob Hope show, though.

Here's an old pic from Christmas in France early 60s. I know it was France because you can see the heater we used in the house. Mother, sis on sofa, bro and yours truly. My sister still has those choir figures on the left. The dog was Wispy.
