Default Countdown to Lake George

!0 days to go. I know this party is missing some of the key players here, but plenty of them are coming so lets get some excitement going here. Plus, I'm all in favor of last minute sign ups, so maybe if it sounds like fun someone else will join up too.

Let's talk it up folks. What is the theme? We are getting close to Halloween, maybe Gerry will dress up in a costume for us! I'll sing the Monster Mash. (If more people will come, I won't sing the Monster Mash.)

What's up with Saturday? I know we have a Sunday drive. What are we doing on Saturday??? An where is dinner.

Speaking of dinner, what are we doing on Friday night????

Hello Vintage. Talk it up now!!!

After getting some feedback, I decided to try to keep a running tab of the schedule. When we finalize it, Rob can post it in the main thread. Right now, these are more ideas than anything. Many things are repeated just to show they could be fit in at a couple of places. Other things are down twice because we will do them twice (like dinner and happy hour).

Friday afternoon till 7:00 pm Happy hour at the lounge of Still Bay
Friday at 7:30 Dinner nearby
Friday evening sing along?
Friday evening poker game?
Saturday AM Levi's guided foliage tour of upstate NY (Levi should post his route as he has done a lot of work)
Saturday lunch along the tour route?
Saturday afternoon Chazmo's guided hike??
Saturday afternoon Rob's seminars???
Saturday afternoon LB's nap time???
Saturday 6:00PM happy hour
Saturday 7:00PM Dinner???
Saturday evening sing a long?
Saturday evening poker?
Sunday morning brunch?
Sunday morning Chazmo's guided hike?
Sunday Robb's guided tour of Vermont
Sunday lunch????
Goodbyes

Hey Bill,

I think I'll be up there on Friday afternoon. I'm game to do something. Just not sure what it is yet.

Yeah, me too. Barbara and I are looking to get out of Boston around 1:00 pm. we are trying to coordinate with Lainey and Rick, but I don't know if that will work out. Seems like we should at least try to meet up for dinner. I don't really know the area. do you have any ideas Jim?

There are plenty of place to eat, depends what you want. I hear the Log Jam is nice, it is a sister establishment to the Butcher Block here in Plattsburgh, and that is a good spot. Jerry has spent a lot of time in Lake George, I'm sure he has some good suggestions.

Looking forward to our Lake George getaway. Karen and I are thinking about possibly taking a hike if a few hours present themselves. If not, then anything we do is just peachy!

Everyone,

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some new people. The Plant Pixie (Barbara) has never been to Lake George so this will be a first for her.

Rob has promised us great top down weather and here is the latest.
