Cruisin' the Coast 2018
It's that time of year again, when 8000 and some odd hot rods, customs, antiques and whatever descend on the Mississippi coast.
I have been out and about (and working registration) so I thought I would share some pics again this year.

Registration. Monday is always crazy, with about a thousand people waiting to check in at 10:00 AM opening. You could check in all week but some people can't wait.
Cars are lined up for about a half mile to get in.
The 2018 Feature Car, a full custom Lincoln.

How do you destroy the value of a split window 'Vette?
This is how.
"Survivors" with "patina" are big these days.
But is it a survivor if the chrome and trim look new?
Or if the rims are this nice?
Survivor sleepers are also popular...

Details, details....
Selfie, Cruisin' style.
Anybody can chrome the brake booster. But matching paint? Now that's cool.
Door art is important on a beater.
One for my fellow Zap Comix fans.
Cool "Frenched" tail lights.
Plenty of showy engine bays.
Grab some air.

This interior is purpose built.

Ziggy's hood ornament. Notice how the "jet" seems to be going backwards?

Yes, you see EVERYTHING at Cruisin', including this one-horse mechanical conveyance.
