"Jefferson still survives."

"So long and thanks for all the fish."

I left that on a white board in my office when I quit.

I have thought more about what to have on a tombstone for those who pass by. My wife and I enjoy taking time to tour cemeteries as we have quite a few Gold Rush era ones in our area and there is always something to reflect on.
For me, as I most likely will be planted in a Federal Cemetery, my choices are pretty much decided ahead of time. Plain Jane.

If I am surrounded by loved ones I will acknowledge my love for them, and let them know that we will meet on the other side. Like those who went before me I will be watching and protecting those I leave behind.

I'm putting estate planning on the plate for 2026. Sadly, making plans to insulate my estate because of my No Contact son.

Last works will be I Love You.
