Default Dash Cams - Who has one?

I got one for Christmas (Rexing V1LG,) and just now got around to temporatily mounting it in our Crosstour. After finally figuring out the somewhat confusing manual, I gave it a quick trial, and I am happy with the results.
I plan to hard-wire it into the S, but not until the weather gets warmer; and may have it professionally wired into the Crosstour so that I can switch it between vehicles. I put it in the Crosstour as we are heading south to Florida on Wednesday, and I'd like to have it just in case.

I use my GoPro as a dash cam. It could be easier to use, though. If I don’t use it for a while I have to review the manual...

I think I would want mine to be very discrete.
No sense in providing the citing officer with any more evidence than he already has.

I, too, have a Crosstour (my second) and have considered a dashcam. Please post a follow up on your experience with your unit when you think that it's best. I'd love to hear your result.

We have them in all our vehicles The S is getting a new Garmin this year to replace a Ojo cam. the Fiat has a Garmin and the BRZ has a Blackvue. the Sprite and the S also use GPS/ Dashcam combos as appropriate. The Bugeye is of course in MPH so the GPS/Dashcam shows the speed in KPH. All units have been great and the S combo gave us the up close and personal view of the deer a few years ago.

I have on in my S built into my rear view mirror. It saved me $250 deductible when I showed the video clip when someone backed into the side of my car in a parking lot. Just put one in my daily driver accord.

I've hardwired a Thinkware F750 dual channel into each of our cars. I've provided footage to the insurers twice, fortunately only as a witness, to accidents involving other cars.

Had the front and rear cams professionally hard-wired into my Crosstour on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the micro-USB port on the front cam experienced damage when I tried to plug in the rear cam, so the rear cam does not work. I contacted Rexing, the manufacturer, and they are replacing the unit under warranty. Only have to pay a 10% deposit until I return the defective unit.
So there are companies who still offer excellent customer service!

Not to hijack your thread, but to add a note- I called Sensi (Emerson) this morning about my new wi-fi thermostat that is supposed to have 4 programmable settings and one other issue. He had me check a few things, then said that it wasn't functioning as it was supposed to. He said he'd have a new one out to me in 3-5 days. That was it, no hoops to jump through. Another good company.
