I'm a big fan I've seen the convertible in person but not the coupe, from pictures I prefer the coupe. Hopefully this will be one of those models that depreciates enormously so I can pick up a used one some day.

I saw both in Naples this winter. Really gorgeous and the sound is awesome. Lots of hot cars in that area.

I've seen a few in the parking garage at work (Microsoft). They are gorgeous.

Just try to keep in mind that they're also British. I had a Triumph TR7 Convertible once ... first convertible, last British car EVER.

Hello to my vintage friends - I know it has been sometime since I posted. I have been quite busy, but doing well. The new F-type Jaguar is a fantastic vehicle. As for cost Jaguars have always been expensive. I have always bought mine after the 3rd year of production; this way the kinks have been worked out.

Yeah you should walk around it and then test drive it. Then report back to us so we'll have an informed opinion on a car most of us won't buy until it's at least 5 years old.

It is a really beautiful and capable car.

Car and Driver compared a new vette convertible loaded with every option including the Z51 package which cost $75K. The Jag cost 100K. The vet won the comparison but it was close. I like both but favor the vette and a $25K savings. The Jag interior is more refined (gentleman's sports car). The vette interior is not as refined but much better than any previous vette. Cant afford either one, just my $.02.
