I wanted to make sure I haven't chimed in on this thread. if I missed it, please accept my apologies for the duplication...

I bought XM (now SiruisXM) when I bought my 2005 infiniti G35x. I bought the Lifetime subscription. I also got the Lifetime App subscription as a bonus, as it was just being released. The Lifetime car subscription allows me to transfer it to another car, up to three times.

I did the same for my now ex's SUV, but I couldn't get her the App as a Lifetime subscription. Guess they realized that would be a loss leader.

For the S200, I used the app exclusively. I don't think I'll ever use the carp part of my plan, after I get rid of the Infiniti. The app has more channels (near 500 at last count).

I mostly listen to Classic Alternative (New Wave). It's nice to listen to all the old KROQ DJs that SiriusXM snapped up. i also listen to Radio.Com's app to get KROQ's 80s station. It's nice to get different perspective on song lists between both apps.

With all the traveling I do (Car rallies and soccer), Yes, I have an Unlimited plan. Ironically, neither app bites too much on my data plan. YouTube, driving apps and Facebook are the data hogs.
