Thanks, raymo... Actually I have not driven the S since I got home from the Dragon. I put off getting the retainers for a couple weeks and then they were on backorder. Should ship this week.

I'm putting AP2 retainers on the intake side, new AP1s on the intake side. Intake retainers look fine but I figured might as well replace them while I have the valve cover off.

You want to take another shot at that with regard to in/out? You've got me confused now.

You may qualify to work in one of shops above.

Sorry...AP1 retainers on the EXHAUST side. They are lighter and aren't as heavily stressed as the intake retainers for some reason.

I don't mount/balance tires, align wheels, or bend/paint sheet metal.

I change all of the fluids in the S. Disposal is easy, I can take it to work. We have a policy that any employee can bring their oil in and we will recycle it.

Changing oil is real easy with the OEM air box gone and a Fomoto Valve installed in place of the drain plug. Everything is done from the top!

I change everything but the coolant myself, once each spring, and the engine oil as needed. Easy, and a good diversion for me.

My local Autozone takes all the used stuff.

I routinely changed the engine, transmission, differential, and brake fluid and generally at the same time; although I did the engine more often. I swapped street and brake pads as well. As I'm typing this I'm thinking.... hummmmm, you know I never changed coolant; wonder what the book says. Oh well, guess I don't need to worry.
