I’ve got two of them and anybody that wants to offer me a decent price will have one and I will have just one! Most offers I get are from kids that don’t have any $$

I have no number. My S has bookoo miles on the odometer. It has been well maintained; it has a moded suspension, brakes, exhaust, tire size, turbo, roll bar; all following my personal purposes and desires. It gets driven hard sometimes and cruises on the interstates quite often. I will never sell the car. But I might buy another sports car sometime. It could happen, but is not likely. I have what I like and more than I need. That at least keeps me on the car-guy list. LOL

I have a number in mind for my NSX, if anyone's seriously interested. (And it's not 6 figures, BTW)

When Tachus was hit last summer the guy who repaired it had his NSX for sale. +1 was making plans that if the S was a write-off he would buy the NSX. Thankfully for our bank account the S could be repaired.

Even though part of the reason I bought mine was as a speculative investment I really don't ever want to sell it because I don't foresee anything like it being made again, bar the Miata. I can still list it as an asset when borrowing money so it's as good as anyway. I still haven't figured out how to drive a bank statement.

I expect most of us will give up our S's due to inability to operate the clutch, knees being what they are, well before regular S2000's hit six figures. I hope that is a very long way off for all of you.

I actually had mine sold last fall for $19K (modified, SC, 2004MY, 93K miles), cash-in-hand. Two days before the buyer was to pick it up I called and asked if he would let me out of the deal because I was having a huge case of "seller's remorse". He kindly let me out of the deal in exchange for "first dibs" this year. I'm not sure but it may go this year.
