140 million people could have their data compromised, so it's worth checking.

The drop box said I could be effected, but then when I continued it gave me another box to come back on Sept 12. The way I read it, I am 'scheduled' to enroll. ???

last month the local county total me that I was part of their hack, and since the second Bush administration I have been part of three hacks of government information and now "we believe that your personal information may have been impacted by this incident".

That is correct. I got the same message. Apparently, they won't be able to enroll people until the 12th. I have it on my calendar. I'll change my first post.

My understanding is this breach occured between May and July. Yet, wasn't reported to the public, until yesterday. I'm not sure I'd like these ppl checking my credit. Seems fishy to me.
