Same here. Our CC's have been compromised a few times but that's easily resolved with shutting down the account and getting new cards. The real issue on this one is if these creeps get your SS info and starts opening accounts in YOUR name and ruining your credit. That along with other messes created if someone gets your SS info is my concern.
Oh and don't carry your SS card, right? But what is your ID number on your Medicare card? Have they changed that yet?

As yet I have not contacted any of the big three to freeze credit. I'm wondering how many here have done that? I keep thinking I probably should.

PS I heard today that if you want to have an online SS account, you should open before you freeze credit.

I signed up for what they were offering on line.
Last week I got an Equifax email spoof asking me to send personal information to start my protection.
