What is everyone packing for Fall Colors 2003? Given how little trunk space we have, and the fact that I've never taken this long a trip in my S, (time and distance), I'm looking for some guidance on what/how to pack. There will be two of us. The 1st thing I realized is that I need to invest in some soft luggage. The old rectangular box luggage won't work. I also wanted to bring my car wash stuff...which is a pretty hefty pile of goods. Lastly, does anyone know what the dress is like for the Saturday banquet? Is it business casual? Jeans? Formal? Anything else that you would recommend I bring?

This is a very good question. I've been thinking about it myself. I'm going to bring a duffle of casual clothes (jeans, shirts, sweatshirts, etc) for Adam and myself. I'm also going to bring my little tool kit (wrenches, torquee wrench, screwdriver and sockets) and my battery powered compressor. I hope the banquet is casual/jeans. Maybe you can post a question in the Fall Colors forum about this.

The best advice I ever heard about traveling in a sportscar came from Dave (dlq04). "Bring half as much clothes, and twice as much money as you think you'll need."
