favorite coffee beans

Patty triggered the thought.
Many of us grind our own coffee.
what are your favorite types?

mine are
Dunkin Dunuts blend.
Hawaiian Kona.
and If I could get it, real Jamaican Blue Mountain which we had years ago while in Jamaica.
Although a surprisingly good substitute is Puerto Rican coffee, although I only had one sample from a work acquaintance who brought it back with them.

Does anyone roast their own coffee?

Starbucks Breakfast Blend.
I used to grind the beans myself to keep it really fresh. Then I realized I was going through a bag so fast it made no sense, so I get the ground bags now. Getting lazy in retirement.

We have a small batch roaster here in Long Beach (Coast Roast) that supplies many local restaurants and most of the casinos and a few places over in New Orleans.

They get beans from all over the world but they get one Mexican that is especially good, very rich and complex but smooth, especially when roasted properly: dark but not so dark that it gets that burned taste that Star Bucks seems to favor.

Long Beach? There are a lot of Long Beaches. We have one in California. It's not the best beach here by far but it is a long beach

It's all just coffee to me and some are better then others. I only drink it in the morning just to open my eyes.

I'm with Dave. I'm not real fond of coffee but I do need it to wake up. The only one I actually enjoy is if I go to Starbucks and get a Flat White.

We buy Peet's House Blend whole beans at Sam's Club and I grind just enough every night to put in our Cuisinart coffee maker, which is set to start brewing at 7:00 AM. This (for us) is the best tasting coffee we have found, and we love the aroma when grinding, plus there is nothing like waking up to a fresh brewed pot every morning. Worth the little extra effort, IMO! (Buying them at Sam's is much more economical that purchasing direct from Peet's, for some reason.)

THE Long Beach is on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It is bordered on the south by a section of our 28 mile long beach and the Mississippi Sound/Gulf of Mexico.

The one thing I like about Starbucks is ordering a Tall Blond.

Any coffee, as long as you have a bottle of Baileys' salted caramel handy!

I order German roasted coffee on the internet. Tchibo is a favorite; grind your own - or vacuum packed preground. Jacobs is also very good.
